ufo test issue on chrome

Hey, im looking for an explanation as to why when i run the ufo test on chrome i get wildly different results than edge or firefox? ive got an fo32u2p 240hz display and when i open the test on chrome, i get the 'unable to vsync close all programs and tabs' error and the frame rate jumps around form 130-160 sometimes up to 200's briefly, then back down. on edge and firefox the tests run fine.

on chrome i've tried disabling extensions, clearing cache, exiting all other programs, opening just one tab, i reinstalled gpu drivers.

dont really know what else to think of it. any help or explanation would be appreciated. attached are screen shots from the chrome ufo test and animation timing precision graph. thanks.
