Afterburner gives me spikes in tests :(

Hey folks. Just got a new system 7700x + 4070tis and i've noticed some tearing in games + pendulum demo was kinda weird. It was super smooth on my previous 2060s and now its junky. So i've ended up here and have found that you have test for deviant timings for frames and you know what i've saw?!
And i've started to dig cause is was like "this is NOT normal at all" and finally it was the Afterburner that gave me that... I've just installed it yesterday the latest FINAL version from official website.
However i've had some big plans of using this app. Does anyone have any ideas how could i fix that? Thanks

Update:
I've found the rootcause it seems: obviously these delays (stutters) are caused by Afterburner's monitoring system that poll for data. I have disabled everything except few metrics i need like FPS / low 1% / temp / load etc. And it's in green zone again and stable. Unfortunately it was far from obvious to find this out, but hopefully this topic might help someone.

Also note that if you only want these stats to be displayed in games in the RTSS overlay, you don't even need Afterburner. You can use RTSS on its own and enable its "overlay editor" plugin which uses RTSS's sensor system. It's a bit more difficult to configure though.
Nowadays, Afterburner is only used if you want to overclock your GPU, controls its fans, change the power limit, etc. For sensors, you can use RTSS without Afterburner if you only want sensors while in-game.

Thank you, Sir, that's pretty clear. I will keep eye on Afterburner since now, also i do need to overclock TIS, otherwise what's the point of buying it ?
