I can't seem to find any information regarding this type of issue but I need help here. I am trying to run a custom resolution within a game for like an ultra widescreen effect. So in the past I've simply made custom resolutions within AMD adrenalin and its worked fine up until recently. I've also then tried to make custom resolutions within CRU.exe and still to no avail. So when it worked I had my GLOBAL scaling options to "center", and my GAME profile within adrenalin also on "center" and it displayed a 2560x700 resolution without fail centered horizontally and centered verically - perfectly in the center. The issue is that NOW no matter what I seem to do (DDU'd multiple timed, reinstalled windows twice, manually deleted supposed regedit video profile folders that could be conflicting with the orientation) - my game window custom resolution without fail only displays at the very top of my screen. In other words, its not black bars its black bar lol! (only the bottom black bar is displaying)
see: here are the regedit video profiles im talking about
But I'm not sure if this is an AMD only type issue or what but no matter what type of scaling options setting I try or FSE or disable optimizations on the game exe nothing seems to work. I just want my game to be centered. I really have no Idea how to diagnose this me stupid. Any information at all regarding this topic would be really cool. I really need some help here my kings.
