Half-refresh rate 60fps/120HZ vs VSync 60fps/60HZ

Hello, I'm new to the forum and couldn't find an answer to my question.

I've been struggling for a day to understand what will give more stable gameplay
Half-refresh rate 60fps/120HZ or VSync 60fps/60HZ?

The thing is that in my monitor is very poorly implemented FreeSync with constant flickering, because of this I started to use Half-refresh rate 60fps/120HZ, I like a smooth desktop.

Half-refresh rate 60fps/120HZ give me an even frame time using the RTSS limiter and the charge feels less than on VSync 60fps/60HZ, but the image seems more blurry when rotating the camera.

Is it a feeling of lower latency or am I missing something that is hidden from my eyes and in the end it is more stable to play on VSync 60fps/60HZ?
Thanks in advance.

There should be no difference in image quality. At least when using an accurate FPS limiter that can actually do a 1/2 Hz cap. RTSS is not good enough for this. The only FPS limiter I know of that can do it is SpecialK's "Normal" limiter mode with a refresh rate factor cap (1/2, 1/3, etc.) You get these choices by right-clicking in the FPS cap entry bar.

Fractional vsync has the drawback of having too much input lag. Other than that, it does the job.
