Hi.

I need help. I've been struggling with this for a long time and I have no idea how to deal with it. The worst thing is that I experience this stutter in the game.

One stutter comes from the browser, that's ok, no problem.

But one comes from an application and I don't know which one.

I checked in safe mode with networking where all applications do not load, as well as processes and services. There is no red spikes.

Can anyone help me?

Sorry for creating a topic but maybe I will help someone.

If you have red spikes:

1. Run safe mode with network
2. Run animation-time-graph and see if you still have red spikes
3. If you don't have red spikes it means that highly probably you have some software issue
4. If you have rgb programs or multiple rgb programs delete them and install again to see if it helps.
Sometimes updates of those programs might cause issue.

For me that helps.

I had synaspe 4, nzxt cam and msi center.

Msi center and razer are likned to manage from chroma app the rgb of ram and graphic card, nzxt is for kraken rgb.

I delete them all restart and installed again with the difference that in msi center I just installed mistic light feature without other things just to be able to manage with synapse 4 and chroma app.

I still see red spikes but in game there is no stutters anymore.

Do you mind sharing your pc and monitor specs? I have the same problem, red spike every 15 to 30 seconds on the animation test. I'm not sure if it's a problem or not though, as games don't seem to have severe stuttering

Procesor: AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D X8 4,7GHz
Mainboard: Msi X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI
Ram: Lexar 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 Ares RGB
Disk: Kingston KC3000 2TB M.2 Pcie 4.0 NVMe
Disk: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB SSD M.2
Graphic Card: MSI RTX 5080 Gaming Trio

I also don't know if this translates to games. But definitely in games that are more CPU-based the stuttering occurs, at least in my case. I also have these red spikes every 15 to 30 seconds. In games rather less often and it happens when I have fps drops, but these drops are for example from 237 fps to 230 fps and it manifests itself in such a stutter, I don't know why it happens with gsync and vrr.

When I turn on safe mode with network and do a test the red spikes are not visible and the fps equal to hz (240 fps on 240 hz)
On normal mode of windows 11 I have red spikes and fps not equal to hz of the monitor (239 fps on 240 hz)

Maybe someone explain here.
