Is there a way to test VRR performance?

I recently got a 5070ti and a MSI MAG274QRFW. Its certified for VRR and freesync but nothing on gsync.Ive noticed it doesn't feel as smooth as my old Acer XB270H gsync module monitor, and im really not sure if its the graphics card, the drivers or the monitor
Is there a way i can test the VRR? I have it enabled in my monitor settings, in the nvidia control panel and also have the gsync indicator on so i know its enabled and working (as i get the gsync indicator in the top right) but im curuous if i can test its performance some how? like if its working correctly?
Im mainly noticing issues when turning in games, especially if there's loads of trees, its as if theres a stutter/tearing, but nothing shows on RTSS frametime graph

The monitor is listed as officially "g-sync compatible":

Do all refresh rates behave the same? Switch to 144Hz or 120Hz. Does it look better then?

Opps, i was meant to put MSI MAG274QRFW with the W on the end. I thought it just meant white as its the white version, but this is 180hz which is higher than the MSI MAG274QRF's 165 hz so im not sure if theyre similar. Il go test the other refresh rates and see what happens, thanks

They seem to be the same sadly. Im wondering if it is a driver issue as im still having issues with stutter on the animation time graph, or maybe its my eyes lol

These spikes are not normal. Have you tried different browsers? Edge, Firefox, Chome?
If it's not the browser causing it, some common causes of these spikes include hardware monitoring software running (like hwinfo, MSI Afterburner, RTSS sensors plugin, etc,) RGB lighting drivers and RGB control software, and anti-virus/malware software.
