Questions about the AOC Q27G3XMN

1) Why do some websites show the model as Q27G3XMN/BK and some just Q27G3XMN. What is/BK?

2) Why is the refresh rate set at 170hz in Windows by default? I know I can change it to 180hz but is there a specific reason for that? I saw in one review that states, the higher the refresh rate, the more smearing there is if you pixel peep (although not visible at normal viewing distance). Could that be the reason or is there something I'm missing here?

The BK model is the one sold in the UK. But it should be identical.

The default refresh rate is simply the first one listed in the monitor's EDID. Usually that's 60Hz on most monitors.

Got it, thank you.
