27" 1440p 280hz at 499$

I'm not sure whether the subpixel layout will still be RGWB (akin to 480hz WOLEDs) or whether they'll adopt RGBW from the LG G5 TV, both TFTCentral and The Display Guy seem to claim they're sticking with the RGWB subpixel layout.

EDIT: Another contender on the horizon, 1440p 540hz this time!

I am willing to bet that 540Hz model is only going to be a prototype in august and real release is 2026. I want to be proven wrong though.

There is no significant difference anyway between 480Hz and 540Hz. I'd say that as a general rule, if the refresh rate increase is less than 30%, it's not worth the upgrade.
