Question about Gsync

Post by Avi » 30 May 2025, 04:51

When i use it on a game that is locked to 60 fps, do i need to lower my monitor refresh rate? Or do i set it in the same way i set it to other games(Gsync ON+NVCP Vsync ON+Cap fps below refresh rate). But in this case i need to cap it below 60, although the refresh rate is 240?

The minimum -3FPS limit recommendation for VRR is relative to your current physical refresh rate, thus at 240Hz, 60 FPS is already 180 frames within the refresh rate. I.E. it's a -180 FPS limit.

So no, at 240Hz 60 FPS VRR, you don't need to reduce your physical refresh rate or set a limit below 60.
