I am curious because I have been experiencing this feeling for a long time. In the games I play, cs and Valorant, I can get consistently above 360 fps, but I noticed that playing with my monitor at 240 Hz feels better than 360 Hz. For example, when people are peeking at me, or I am peeking at them, it feels like I can see them more quickly. I don't know if it's just placebo or if there are actual reasons behind this.

I'm feeling kind of the same thing after switching to 360 hz oled from my old 170 hz va monitor. I'm getting lightning peeked all the time and everything except me is so fast and happening beyond my reaction time.

I actually bought this monitor for surfing, but it feels worse on 360 hz too lol. It's smoother yes but I feel like I'm floating instead of surfing all the time. I always thought all of these because of DSC, and I was gonna sell this monitor for non dsc alternatives but seeing you people experiencing the same feeling makes me wonder what exactly it is. Apparently something happens if you go above 240 hz.
