Complete fix for unpredictable mouse movement and desync

After seeing Slender comment on an older post, I decided to revisit some things and found this:

First, make sure Enhance Pointer Precision is turned off

go to HKCU\Control Panel\Mouse and delete every value, only the string called (Default) should be left

you can add my settings that I think to be the best anyways: https://github.com/Hyyote/files-/blob/main/mouse.reg

shut down the computer and unplug your mouse and keyboard

start the computer, only plug in the keyboard then the mouse after booting into Windows

Normally if you delete everything in the mouse reg key, Enhance Pointer Precision gets turned on at the next startup, but with this method it's bypassed.
This is not one of the things where I am unsure or mention that it's a potential fix, because I tried it a lot of times now and it is a definite method.

In short:
delete everything in HKCU\Control Panel\Mouse
shut down PC
unplug keyboard and mouse
start PC
wait until Windows boots up
plug in keyboard and mouse

Why would you just randomly delete every mouse reg key it will all go back to default values, if you think you're bypassing this the only thing you might feel is the mouse SmoothMouseXCurve and SmoothMouseYCurve being put to 0 which can have a different feeling, i feel like this is a nothing burger might aswell just delete SmoothMouseXCurve/SmoothMouseYCurve and you'll get the same results without needing to delete everything

Do those settings have any effect whatsoever if mouse acceleration is disabled?

Yes, as I remember it makes laptop touchpads stop working. I prefer deleting it anyways, along with everything else.

With the method I explained I never get the mouse registry reset, however I moved onto another version of Windows since then. The main part of this fix is about unplugging and replugging devices in the right order.

If registry settings are deleted and they match the default values for the respective setting, there is no effect.

In other words, a program defines default parameters, which are always used unless overridden by registry values. If no registry override exists, the program falls back to the defaults.

In essence, this results in switching from the default settings back to the default settings, which makes no difference.

The registry deletion part is unimportant here, I didn't update the post.
