Regedit mouclass string priority

In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\mouclass\Enum, check to see if your HID-compliant mouse is set to string 0, to find the value for your HID-compliant mouse, go to Device Manager\Mice and other pointing devices\HID-compliant mouse\Properties\Details\Property\Device instance path. If it's not on string 0 already, mine was on string 4 by default, swap the values and restart or sign out.
The order of the strings might be reset upon unplugging and replugging the mouse.
The difference in this device ordering might be placebo, I do feel a positive difference, you might not, try for yourself.
