I found the input lag on my PC

Hello friends, I’m a CS and Quake Live player, and in my case I found the cause of the input lag: it was in my mouse settings.
I have an ATK F1 Ultimate, and this mouse comes with a bunch of options that are supposed to improve accuracy and reduce input lag (I had all of them enabled).
What I did was disable all these extra features and leave the mouse in its pure/raw state with nothing enabled.
Then I went to test the games, and magically my aim improved drastically. My reactions were much faster, and every shot hit the target.
To make sure I wasn’t just imagining things, I re-enabled those options, and the mouse got worse again.
I hope this helps someone. Cheers!

Keep esports mode enabled, otherwise this is not related to the input lag problems other people face.
Also sleep time 30m, debounce 0ms, and turn off DP lighting. That's pretty much all you can do in the software. And use 3200 DPI.

You have the same problem as me. The reason is that the mouse sensor cannot accurately read the surface texture of the mouse pad. Try a glass mouse pad.

I have an ATK mouse and use the slowest, dirtiest rag on an uneven wooden desk without issue. I don' think it's wise to start spreading your own solution as a general one.

If you have no input lag issues, then you're good to go. But if you still experience slight lag, you'll need a reliable, controlled experiment. Mouse sensors are more finicky than you might think.
