24" 500Hz OLED monitor
Do you guys have any rumors or news that they're going to release a 24 inches 500Hz OLED monitor with great motion clarity like DyAc 2 in ZOWIE?

No OLED will achieve achieve low MPRT (<1ms) BFI like DyAc does anytime soon, regardless of refresh rate setting chosen.
There's no incentive to do it properly, same way that there's no incentive to do LCD backlight strobing properly.
As for the 24" form factor, this is achievable on any OLED right now as well with the help of NVCPL's “No scaling” option and the appropriate resolution.

Or do you think they will release a 27" form factor with 1080p OLED 500Hz+? I play CS2 but I play other games too, it would be nice to have a 27" form factor with 1080p OLED 500Hz+.

1080p at 27" looks horrible because of the low pixels per inch. There's no market for a monitor like this.Watchdog wrote: ↑25 Sep 2025, 03:44kyube wrote: ↑20 Sep 2025, 05:33No OLED will achieve achieve low MPRT (<1ms) BFI like DyAc does anytime soon, regardless of refresh rate setting chosen.

I still shiver at the mere existence of such grotesque offers whenever I see them...
There's even a 27" FHD 520hz IPS panel on the market...

If that 27" FHD 520Hz is using an OLED panel, doesn't matter if it is expensive than 2k/4k OLED. I would still buy it and it would be my endgame. The last puzzle of my setup.

There is ASUS PG248QP 540Hz but it uses a TN panel.
24" 1080p OLED 500Hz+ or 27" 1080p OLED 500Hz+. Either of those two would be really nice to have.

You could always play on uneven scaling. Its not like alot of esports aren't playing stretched 768p resolutions.

Re: 24" 500Hz OLED monitor
They can’t even make 480Hz OLEDs without input lag tradeoffs and dimming yet, so 500Hz in 24"? Not happening anytime soon. Manufacturers don’t care about motion clarity freaks like us, just HDR buzzwords.
