Turns out the sony xperia 1 vi (june 2024 launch) supports 120hz with bfi toggle in its game optimizer.
It's the one phone of playing 4th gen retro games at their full crt potential at 240hz. Retroarch would be considered 120hz by the system. So it would be double blanks at bare minimum.
The review of the successor the 1 vii doesn't mention it. I don't see why it would be removed. I assume the other phone with the same software would be the lower end xperia 5 vi.
Mods not sure if this should be duplicate elsewhere. Ill leave that to your discretion.
Worlds first phone with 240fps clarity support?
Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).
