Seems like this is one of about 3 monitors to get for competitive twitch aim gaming although I actually preferred 4: 3 aspect ( black borders not stretched) and it ends up a little small on a 24 inch.

So we have the latest 'pulsar' fast IPS ( also ulmb 2) for 27 inch 1440p or 500/ 540hz OLED, and I personally am using OLED to avoid the few ms extra latency and low contrast.

Have been waiting for and haven't seen any decent reviews for this monitor. How does it compare to Asus PG248QP and BenQ XL2586X+ (or w/e is the name of their last version), given that it has a new TN panel, right? So, is this new panel faster (faster pixel transitions), allowing less ghosting and thus better motion clarity? Also it's weird how here in France it's not sold by main/usual vendors.

The XL2586X+ (QD) and the XG248QSG (KSF/PFS) have the same AUO-based panel.
The difference is in the backlight type chosen.
I find the BenQ a better choice due to the QD layer, but YMMV.
I wouldn't use either though, as 24" FHD is a mediocre combination to choose. The new 24" QHD 360Hz by BenQ is going to be a better choice

Here are reviews for the ASUS, if you're interested: 1, 2, 3, 4
Here's some rambling about the ASUS model by me

THE 610HZ has elmb2, its alright at high fps, but that 540hz asus is the best clearest ufo i ever saw

upsides: better stand, brighter strobing, strobing at below 360hz, rolling scan
downsides: elmb2 is not as good as ulmb2, expensive

if this had pulsar, it might of been peak
