Got my 60hz to 100hz

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

Got my 60hz to 100hz

Post by Omtegu » 08 Mar 2026, 00:00

I've been using my Lenovo aio ideacentre 510s-23isu as a monitor, a 60hz panel from an AIO unit. It rejects over 80hz. But somehow through the magic of stepping from 60 to 70 to 80 to 85 to 90 to 100hz I got it running a stable 100hz, now I don't run it like this normally because of concerns over panel overheating (I have burned myself before when I tested a stupidly low resolution)

Now it still doesn't match my CRT in the slightest for motion clarity, but dang does it look 40hz better than it should.
