High worst-case frame times in OW2?
I built a PC a bit ago, and have intermittently been debugging some high frame times. Let me know if this is the wrong forum/board to seek advice for this kind of problem, but here's my specs and what I've tried.
HWiNFO Report:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (Raphael, RPL-B2) 4200 MHz (42.00x100.0) @ 4850 MHz (48.50x100.0)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7D75)
BIOS: 1.P0, 04/23/2026
Chipset: AMD B650 (Promontory PROM21L.1)
Memory: 32768 MBytes DDR5 SDRAM @ 3000 MHz, 36-36-36-76
- 16384 MB PC48000 DDR5 SDRAM - Corsair CMK32GX5M2D6000C36
- 16384 MB PC48000 DDR5 SDRAM - Corsair CMK32GX5M2D6000C36
Graphics: ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC
Drive: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB, 1953.5 GB, NVMe
Drive: Samsung SSD 980 PRO 2TB, 1953.5 GB, NVMe
Sound: NVIDIA AD104 - High Definition Audio Controller
Sound: ATI/AMD Zen APU - Display HD Audio Controller
Network: RealTek Semiconductor RTL8125 Gaming 2.5GbE Family Ethernet Controller
Network: MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) 160MHz Wireless LAN Card
OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (x64) Build 26200.8328 (25H2)
Monitor: Asus ROG PC32UCDM
Here's a CapFrameX report that is the most representative of the type of issues I'm seeing:
If this isn't the kind of input lag this forum is for, suggestions for other forums would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: High worst-case frame times?
This can be perfectly normal with some games (mostly Unreal Engine.) In fact, this is pretty good for something like Oblivion Remastered. I expected way worse than that

I forgot to mention my issues are in Overwatch 2, which for an esports title on this PC I expected to be perfectly smooth.

Check dpc and isr interrupts (by service and drivers) thru latencymon, check also that c-states are disabled in bios. Make sure your msi are setted up properly (I had issues with 5090fe that was running on single msi line and should be 8 in my case)

DPC and ISR through latencymon comes back green, I can post a screenshot if you'd like. MSI is enabled, but I haven't checked the line count. I'll try C-states but have heard conflicting advice on if that helps.unconnected wrote: ↑13 May 2026, 07:56Check dpc and isr interrupts (by service and drivers) thru latencymon, check also that c-states are disabled in bios. I lied, DPC latency is 1.2ms from nvlddmkm.sys. That was with C-state control disabled.

MSI Utility reports a limit of 1, and max of 1 for my 4070ti. The MSI box is checked.

This is right, about latencymon post a txt with the main result after 10 minutes playing, and post screenshot of driver tab sorted by highest execution.driedurchin wrote: ↑13 May 2026, 21:31MSI Utility reports a limit of 1, and max of 1 for my 4070ti. The MSI box is checked.
