Looks like it has thicker bezels, similar to Zowie's, which might indicate custom backlighting? They did specify "Motion Blur Reduction Pro" which sounds like a new thing.

The only test on this I'm interested in is whether or not this makes VRR redundant when running any FPS at 1000Hz. But I highly doubt any reviewer will test that because most of them are clueless

I'm interested too. As Hz goes up, the need for VRR goes down. Given that VRR flicker is a problem, this test would be interesting. We should be more vocal about it.

To be clear, VRR will still be more consistent. The question is where your personal sensitivity threshold is to this kinda stuff. I've seen people not needing VRR at 240 or 360 Hz already. I know I ain't one of them.

yea i went back to ips just because of vrr flicker, played some time without it but i could see some judder and tearing and that annoyed me. Hope someone will test vrr off on 1000 hz

First review is up!
For a IPS at 2000 px/s? Mighty impressive results. There seems to be no trailing whatsoever compared to previous IPS displays?

Requires DP2.1 capable GPUs to run 1kHz (Blackwell or RDNA3/RDNA4)

2000 px/s with a 1/320 shutter speed

This reviewer seems to be using some kind of custom desktop pursuit photography application?

UPDATE:
Up for pre-order in the USA. September shipping date

I honestly didnt expect a 1000Hz IPS display to have so little ghosting. I wonder if theres any game that can actually reach 1000 FPS, maybe something like geometry dash. I was thinking about using lsfg with dual gpu, maybe that could be a way to take full advantage of the 1000Hz refresh rate.

There's ~400 games / ~16k sample size released between 2000–2026, which I've went through, which are able to run +500FPS (any hardware combination, not strictly limited to high-end HW)
The amount of games which are 1k FPS capable was a even smaller subset :D
Though, there's a lot of titles which are unexplored within this 16k sample size, so there's more room for entries.

You could use LSFG or NVidia Smooth Motion in one of these ~400 games and achieve 1k FPS, yes.
