Easy Setting. Please Test and Report

Hello all, i am curious to see what you all observe.

Go into a shooting range, OSU, preferred shooting practice area etc.
Within nvidia control panel -> change resolution -> then instead of selecting the usual PC resolution, scroll down and select an option that works under Ultra HD, HD, SD.
For me, i have a 240 2k monitor, the top option under ultra HD, HD, SD is 1920x1080 120hz.

While in the shooting area toggle between the top PC resolution, shoot for a bit, and the HD, SD resolution, shoot for a bit.

I won't influence you by sharing my observations at the moment.

Thanks

Edit; I have a dual pc setup, and on the 2nd pc the monitor only operates at 60hz under ultra HD, HD, SD options. However, even though the desktop looks worse and the mouse looks/ feels worse there, how does it perform in fullscreen game is the important part. πŸ‘

On my XG27AQDMG, running at 1920Γ—1080 @ 120 Hz feels significantly worse. When I switch back to 2560Γ—1440 @ 240 Hz, it feels relatively better, but the input lag that has always been present is still there.

And just to double check. You alternated between pc resolution and ultra hd resolution? 2 different options.

Keep ingame res as you would usually have it, unless there is a weird interaction when you don't adjust in game? Also is 60hz the top refresh rate on the ulra hd, hd, sd option?
This would be easier at 120fps as i have noticed on my other machine, because i can go between pc and hd res with similar/ same frame rates to better compare.

So what i want you to feel for, is when you toggle between pc and hd res, does it firstly feel like there is a change in sensitivity between pc and hd resolutions, but what you can also do is test pc at 60hz, then hd at 60hz. Both will look bad on the desktop because we are used to higher refresh rates, but when you tab in do you feel a sens difference a) and b) does 60hz on HD res look smoother frame wise when panning than pc res as 60hz?
Lastly, not to criticise but it would appear your hipfire sens can go up slightly as the tracking seems to be undershooting regardless. Thanks for taking the time to test 🀟

i assure you that i do not need to change my sensitivity whatsoever. i also assure you that i am not undershooting my shots. this is simply what my "input delay" looks like. now ive tested many things in hopes to fix my issue. i can get it to work sometimes by changing certain settings but it doesnt always work. in this video i showcase what it looks like when im able to get my pc to work.

My sens is 1.80 which is = to 28cm/360. which if quite fast in comparison to other players that play between 30-35 or even 40 like shroud. but with my "input delay" it feels much slower and less responsive. Also in my video you can see that i change it to the option that caps out at 60hz

As i said, not to criticise, no offence. Anyway, if that is indeed your issue then clearly it is not the same. Yours looks like it’s emulating joystick movement. That left and right panning literally looks like a controller. Good luck with that.
