Two days ago I got stuck in a BitLocker loop and despite having the key I would put it in and it would come up as "we failed to diagnose your pc" and had to completely wipe my PC. Since the fresh Windows reset, my aim feels totally ruined its so garbage it's super floaty, way too fast, and I can't hit side-to-side flicks anymore on rivals I just feel like shit.
I'm using a Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 (2k Hz) and a Wooting 60HE+. My AMD drivers are installed, sens is exactly the same, pointer precision is off ofc. and the slider is on the 6th.
It's 100% not a placebo either cause I've lost my aim few times before this even happened because I usually mess with stuff, one time i fixed it cause somehow wooting enabled itself as a controller and I was able to aim again just 2 weeks ago. Am I leaving something out? Another crazy thing is when I enable raw input (I never had it on before) my aim feels a bit better. Does anyone know What hidden Windows settings, gaming optimization I forgot to turn on or maybe I have to do something in bios? this stuff is driving me insane has anyone else had to reset their windows and wipe their files then their aim just feels like shit? I only had this pc for a year.
mouse feels weird and can't flick or aim anymore after I completely had to reset windows locally

The issue is with the USB ports. It's currently unclear whether this is a chipset problem or an operating system issue. In short, you need to unplug the keyboard in a single-player game environment, leaving only the mouse USB receiver plugged in. Then, test each USB port for 1-3 minutes until you find the most suitable one. Some motherboards may have issues even with the optimal port, but this is already the best solution.

Actually it did help a bit. It doesn't feel that bad but still just feels too fast which it was way worse before but this makes the most logical sense cause before I reset my pc I took all the usb ports out and tried cleaning the dust out of my pc. So I did in fact put them in different places. Would you know any other fixes by chance? Aside from the obvious ones?

Did you change anything in bios after resetting? if not bios should be fine. Make sure you have your mouse and keyboard connected to same ports as before or if you are using and connect them to ports that are direct to cpu.FeliciaxPeter wrote: ↑16 Aug 2026, 12:38Two days ago I got stuck in a BitLocker loop and despite having the key I would put it in and it would come up as "we failed to diagnose your pc" and had to completely wipe my PC. Other windows step you should follow,
1.Use christitus tool to debloat windows and make sure you tune it for best performance ( you can do it in system config aswell )
2. Power plan - High performance or if am5 use balanced.
3. Download Gointerrupt and change your usb interrupt to different cores and check.
4. if using AMD make sure you download latest chipset drivers from your motherboard site or Amd site. Never let windows install drivers or run update after reset till you download & install drivers from your motherboard site.
5. Set maximum performance in nvidia power plan.
Bit of context about your spec would be great to help.

Re: mouse feels weird and can't flick or aim anymore after I completely had to reset windows locally
I never touched anything in the BIOS. I had to reset Windows because my SSD no longer recognized itself, and this was because I was leaving my PC on Rivals for days on end. I fixed it because my fans were set to silent in the BIOS. The problem isn't really performance, as I used to get 300-400 fps and still do; also, I play Marvel Rivals. I use AM5, so it's always been set to balanced even before I reset my PC. The problem is really that I just can't flick idk what happened, and my character just doesn't feel controllable at all, way too fast. After I reset my pc. Also, I always play at a custom resolution of 1440x1080 well, not always, but recently I created a custom resolution before I even reset my pc and my aim was very good on it.

I found out the solution and it was that my gpu scaling was off.
