Floaty mouse discussion

It's been a while since I made a post here and I don't want to make this an advert for my own stuff but I have to write that the only way I could get rid of floaty mouse is by making the best possible Windows. I have two versions, an ISO and a playbook and both of them do a lot of stuff from regular settings to kernel drivers. The fix is absolutely achievable by perfectly tuning Windows. I have tried with Linux as well but it doesn't even come close. Some say that getting top tier hardware can solve it, this is a lie as well. I have a very high end 1200 W PSU and until I didn't complete my Windows, it had the same issues as my mid-range PC from before.
TL;DR: Floaty mouse can be fixed by tweaking Windows.

You know a person is full of it when they say a perfectly optimized windows has better latency than linux.

That's just nitpicking, I could write anything and you could find some bullshit to complain about. You're as useful as 99% of the members on this forum.

Logically speaking, if the culprit for floaty mouse was Windows, then every single pro or high ranked player who don’t have access to your custom ISO would experience the same issues. But guess what, they all play on bloated, ai-infested OS’es filled with weather widgets on the search bar just fine

This dude still think that he need to change 100 bios settings, 1000 settings in regedit, 10000 settings in windows and even modify the drivers to have a normally working PC...after I fixed the ACTUAL culprit, I just reinstalled windows, flashed default bios settings, updated the windows, installed only NVidia driver and didn't touch ANYTHING else, and surprise surprise everything works perfectly, because this is how the PCs are SUPPOSED to work if you don't have external things causing problems.

You actually have the numbers wrong: 1000 bios settings, 50000 settings in regedit and a few settings in Windows since they are mostly cosmetic. Also you mention that default settings solve the issue: so you can't use your PC's full potential and that is your fix?

No, what I said is that after I fixed the actual culprit (external power related issues, nothing inside the PC), I can simply reinstall fresh windows, everything on default, BIOS on default, only one driver for GPU installed, and the PC works perfectly without needing to change anything anywhere...so how come? Because the problem is NOT your 10,000 windows settings, but some kind of external issue like power quality, and when you fix this you don't need to change anything in software anymore to have a perfect PC...I mean this is literally how 99,99% of people on this planet use their PCs, or what, you think that 100 million gamers around the world tweak their PCs like you? Lmao right, they install windows, update it, install GPU drivers, and play...and have NO problem.

The thing is that some tweaks like ram tuning or cpu overclocks actually work and can make measurable difference, on the other hand there is zero proof that so called "dirty electricity" affects pc performance

Then tweak your rams and bios and windows settings and enjoy perfect PC, where is the problem? How many thousand of placebo fixes will you try before realising that nothing helps, because its not the problem with software or bios settings?

Listen, i dont know if im just rage baiting and talking schitzo. and idk if anyone has exactly what i have but im just going to assume everyone does. i mean "sounds like input delay" but no input delay fixes, fix it. no bios settings fixes it, reinstalling windows does nothing, reinstalling it on a portable iso does nothing, fixing dpc spikes does nothing, uninstalling all drivers do nothing, using old drivers does nothing, whole new pcs doesnt fix it, three monitors, three pcs, 4 new cpus. i feel like its not. like a lot of people in this forum talk about electromagnetic interference but to me it sounds like that would come from many different things. but if anyone has my issue which ive made videos on than it seems like it comes from one thing specifically, if it came from a bunch of random things all at once than i feel like it wouldn't be so consistently bad. and i just have a feeling that its not emi or input lag but those are just what people gravitate towards as words to describe the issue because we dont know what it is. but like, i feel like its something we dont know of or something. like we literally dont have a word to describe what the issue is. also at this point, besides doing the absolutely most insane task such as replacing my screws with copper or like idk, grounding my whole house or something. i feel like the only thing i have faith in is the idea of moving states. because me and other have tried moving apartments, i tried renting a pc in a "gaming cafe" 11 miles away and it still felt like that pc had the issue. idk if the "gridlines" or something are bad but my logic is simply that. if every pro is in texas and i dont know of a single good player in my state than maybe i too can be good in texas. so i should try to move there even though that would take some time. Ive seen people get mad at statements like this and saying not to treat the issue like magic but its just what i think.
