Upgraded monitor - Eyestrain

Hi,
I've been using dual monitors for many years now, a HP 24er and a OMEN by HP 25. Never had any issues with them, and could use them all day for 12+ hours, even in pitch black, without any discomfort.
The HP 24er started dying so I upgraded to a Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi 2026. I've been using it for some days and I can't really use it more than 2-3 hours without my eyes feeling really tired, sometimes itchy and dry. I've tried alot of stuff such as turning Local Dimming off, warmer colors, lower brightness, low blue light, but nothing seems to work.
My eyes feel fine again if I stop looking at it for several minutes. I don't know what could be causing it. Resolution change? QD screen? Do my eyes just have to adapt? I noticed that it's harder for my eyes to focus on this monitor. When I look at the OMEN by HP 25 monitor they go back to relaxed.
