What are the effects of enabling or disabling Aero in Windows 7? Is there a difference for Windowed games or Full screen games? Is there a difference in input lag?

The ufo test doesn't go over 60 fps with Aero disabled, is this just a browser thing or would games also be stuck at 60Hz refresh rate if Aero is disabled?

aero doesnt affect fullscreen games

windowed games and borderless fullscreen games have more input lag with aero due to vsync. actually the entire desktop is laggier by two frames . just drag an icon around on the desktop and note how far it lags behind the cursor when you have aero on
