Input Lag POSSIBLE FIX (Fixed for me!)

So, I was experiencing this weird input lag, with the feeling that my mouse was sliding across the screen instead of having the same precise feel it always had. In VALORANT and CS2, every match felt different. One game I'd go 30/10, and the next I'd go 10/20. I never felt like I was truly in control of my aim.
Yesterday, I finally decided to run a test. I remembered that my PC's front audio jack has some weird, FAULTY noise, so I suspected it might be causing that delayed and imprecise feeling. I unplugged the cable that connects the front audio ports to the motherboard (usually connected to the HD AUDIO header).
After unplugging it, I noticed an improvement in my aim. It wasn't immediate, because I'd almost forgotten what it felt like to have a truly precise mouse. But after a few matches, I noticed how much more consistent things felt and realized that there really was an improvement.
I believe this fixed MY problem. Give it a try and let me know if it helps you too!
P.S. I've been browsing this forum for a while, reading all kinds of posts trying to fix this issue. I'd already tried everything, including RAM timings, BIOS tweaks, and Windows tweaks, but nothing worked.
