Just fyi
You can't use VT Tweaks with VSR and have full refresh rate control since both the monitor (and the drivers) think you're running at 60hz or something.
2560x1440 will switch to 60hz refresh rate, if using a VT tweak setting at 100hz.
If you use a default setting, then 2560x1440 will be fine at 100hz (maximum).
It won't work at 120hz anyway so you can use the 120hz VT.

Re: VT tweaks and Omega drivers and VSR
Is VSR the counterpart of DSR (Dynamic Super Resolution of NVIDIA) ?
Nvidia Control Panel says Custom resolutions are disabled when DSR is enabled. After enabling DSR - Factors, it will set the the refresh to 60hz. Surprisingly reverting to 120hz enables the VT Tweak (screen becomes brighter). It works in games with 4k, 1440p and resolutions over 1080p.

Re: VT tweaks and Omega drivers and VSR
Yeah it is.
How do you 'revert' to 120hz?
I have the VT disabled (temporarily) at 100hz (I deleted the 100hz custom resolution) but enabled at 120hz.
I tried disabling all custom resolutions, but the highest refresh rate 120hz works at is 1920x1200 ,and the highest refresh rate 100hz works at is 2560x1440. I can't get 120hz to work at 2560x1440 so I just re-enabled the 120hz VT.
Are you saying I do something like, from a 100hz (without VT) desktop (1920x1080@100hz, no VT), play game at 2560x1440@100hz, alt tab to desktop, set refresh rate to 120hz, then alt tab BACK in the game?
*edit*.
I Just tried doing that. Game switched back to the refresh rate it launched at (in this case 100 hz). Desktop was at 120hz.

Re: VT tweaks and Omega drivers and VSR
Sorry for the late reply. I just noticed it lol. When I enabled DSR, windows automatically switched to 60hz. I changed the refresh rate normally to 120hz (right click, change resolution, advanced, monitor tab) then the screen got brighter. I do not need to change refresh rate again EVER when gaming or alt-tabbing to desktop to change it. So 120hz VT1350 with Nvidia DSR works for me, I know it because the screen is still bright in gaming. It maybe different with AMD GPUs because CRU controls the VT, unlike Nvidia Control Panel which has it own thing internally and drives it.
The weird thing is NCP says I'm currently using native resolution and not the custom resolution (VT1350), BUT the screen is still bright.

Re: VT tweaks and Omega drivers and VSR
I'm getting the same thing here yeah.
Pretty disappointed, was looking forward to downsampling and 120Hz motion blur reduction at the same time for my old games.
Any idea why the frequency is limited in VSR? There is 2560x1440 144Hz monitors so unless the scaler hardware in the GPU that they're using for VSR has less bandwidth than DisplayPort I dunno why they'd limit this.
It could be the case though since the R9 285 can downsample from 4K, whereas the R9 290 can only do 3200x1800.
Downsampling is so much easier on Nvidia.
