benQ xl2430t (digital) ???

so when i checked the resolution at desktop it said that monitor i have is benQ xl2430t (digital)
i went to the device manager and i saw that the monitor driver i have there is benQ xl2430t (digital) i disabled it and nothing happend ,screen didnt go black or anything but just the display pilot program doesnt show that i have the benq anymore...
my question is what is this digital thingy? will it add input lag or anything . please explain to me T.T

It's the name of the monitor.
LCD's are digital panels
CRT's are analog.

You removed the driver, just reinstall it from the CD.

i just disabled it... do i must enable it ? cuz now i dont have the digital sign just benq xl2430t .. i can edit all the settings from the monitor button and everything works fine.. so do i have to enable it again? =S
