Is V4 firmware compatibily with the blurbusters strobe utility?

What is the advantage of getting V4 over V2 ?

How did you come by this V4 Firmware?

Yeah how do you have V4 firmware when only V2 is downloadable on Benq's site?
We know that V3 fixed some bugs in downloadable profiles and some gamer preset settings issue, but V4 ? No changelog at all?
If you contacted Benq for V4, what did they change in it?

I'll send an inquiry about what V4 fixes. Probably just a number of minor or usability fixes, none of them strobe related.

Anyy firmware V2 and later are the important ones for Blur Busters Strobe Utility compatibility.

With the update to V3 having been so easy, quite interested in getting a V4 for XL2411Z if someone has it. Also sent the question to Benq AU but expect to be told they have no idea.

I just received a response that the V4 firmware isn't important so there is no need in updating.

So did whoever told you it isn't important at least tell you what it was for? What's not important for one person can be for another. Thx.

I had V4 and it wouldnt work the the newest version of BB utility (worked with archived release), also the S-Switch wasnt working so I RMA'd its ass and got a v3 from amazon

This version seems better and no faults with utility or with switch but I cant say if it was just a dodgy monitor, I returned 2 that were pre opened (re-sealed with benQ tape) on receiving a third that also looked pre-opened and reseal by benQ I just settled but is this normal? 2 from amazon and one from CCL (faulty one).

No, I contacted the EU support and the answer came from a representative from my country. I'd say we wait for answers by others that have contacted BenQ as well, for more details.
