Looking at xl2411z for gaming, alternatives?

Current setup: 280x, i5-3570k, 8gb memory, 120hz viewsonic 2265wm. Getting a nvidia card is no problem.
Want: Cheap, motion clarity, low input lag, refresh rate.
Would be nice to have: Brightness, decent colors, resolution.
I would say I am pretty competitive in the way that I play, I'd much prefer smooth framerate/motion over graphic fidelity, although AA is pretty nice.
Reading up on the forums benq blur reduction @ 120hz might be a good pick for me (but I worry a bit about the crosstalk issues pointed out in a thread) since my eyes wander away from the crosshair a lot but 144hz and low latency might get me to the point where I'd be OK with not having that. I'm just sick of fast mouse movements scrambling everything on my screen even with staring at the crosshair so that's something I'd like changed as well.
I don't think I'll need x-sync since I'm planning on setting my graphics for maximum performance anyway but I suppose it might be a nice thing to have? It'll probably be a waste of money since I don't know what g-sync does when running at higher framerates. I know the g-sync monitors have ULMB but benq blur reduction is "better" than that iirc, I could be wrong.
I was looking at the xl2411z but I'm wondering if there's a better monitor for my needs, budget is under 400 but the cheaper the better. If there is a big jump in picture quality while remaining in budget I might consider that too.
