AOC with patch light bleed in middle? Photo

This photo shows what I am seeing on all black screens on my new AOC G2460PG, a large dumbbell whiteish area. Is this normal, do I need to adjust the settings? I played around with luminance settings, but it made no difference.

RMA it.
Some people with Rog Swifts have that pattern. It was first reported and widely common defect on the Asus VG27H or HE monitor. There was a big hardforum thread about it.

I got an RMA number from Euro support, had to send them my purchase invoice, just waiting on confirmation that they'll swap it out.
Thanks for the info, I'll see if I can find that thread.

Wow that is a BUSY forum! I can't locate the thread you mean, maybe the discussion is part of a larger thread about a monitor in general, you can;t recall which thread it was by any chance?
Thanks.

Search for VG27H backlight, or VG27HE, I forgot.
That pattern of backlight bleed was the subject of a thread.

Thanks for that.
AOC have a swap out warranty, which is very cool, so I'm getting a replacement tomorrow. If it is the same, I'll get a refund from the retailer.
