Along with the announcement of the new 980Ti Nvidia is also adding the ability to use G-Sync in windowed mode. I personally don't run games in windowed mode but I know it's been a demanded feature for a while. What do you guys think?

They're also bringing g-sync to laptops, which is IMO more interesting. It would be interesting to see if they're using display controllers with panel self refresh, or if they're just doing their own take on the more GPU heavy solution AMD used. It will also be interesting to compare the implementation quality and performance to freesync and desktop g-sync.

The implementation they are using on laptops is the same as that was leaked a while back in an Asus beta driver package to much ado - eDP with PSR.

I didn't see any confirmation of the PSR part, do we know which display controller it's using?
