This is impossible.
Lightboost does not have strobe data for 144 hz.
LB strobe data is activated by three vertical total values:
100 hz: 1138 VT, 110 hz: 1143 VT, 120hz: 1149 VT. That's it.
While you can get 121hz lightboost to strobe in sync with 120 hz on SOME monitors (24" Benq Z series can do this in Lightboost while the 27" benq has strobe errors), and 99hz to strobe in sync with 100hz, that's it.
Attempting to get higher refresh rates (like 125hz) to lightboost strobe will cause sync errors which will make your custom resolution unusuable.

ULMB also does not have strobe data for 144 hz.

Only Benq blur reduction monitors can strobe at 144 hz. No other monitors can (except CRT's which always strobe).
Benq Z series pre-XL2730Z can strobe from 60 to 144 hz in 1 hz increments.
Benq XL2730Z strobes at 120hz and 144 hz. 60hz double strobes, 100hz strobes out of sync at 120hz pulses, causing stuttering. This has not been fixed.

Technically, 144 Hz LightBoost is possible once there's a 160Hz-175Hz+ native refresh rate available.

There is a needed of roughly about 10-20% refresh rate overhead for strobing, due to a needed vertical blanking interval that's at least as long as the LCD GtG pixel transition. This is to make sure that strobe backlights operate on clean, fully refreshed frames with a minimum of ghosting.

aww damned :-(

I have the vg248QE , and it's not old yet. But now i'm really tempted to get me a 144 hz lightboost monitor (benq blur reduction)

You may ask "why man, not worth it", but as i'm getting older and slower , i need every single tiny advantage to keep up. I begin to notice my eyes are getting more easily distracted by vision impairments you typically find in games, and blur being the absolute most annoying one.

Before you think i'm 80 with parkinsons, i can still keep up (pay special attention to the twitch shots beginning at 0:43) , but i feel my eyes are getting pummeled more quickly !

Now, is the benq blur reduction, any good ? Is it true strobing @ 144 hz ?
