Hello,

my screen is flickering all the time. As soon as I turn blur reduction on there is this Image flickering. 144hz, 120hz doesnt matter. 60hz give me eyestrain. When I boot up my PC I see those 60hz flickers in the bios screen and that hurts.

The problem is this wasnt always this way. Before I had installed Blur Busters I had no problems with flickering and blur reduction on.

The monitor is connected via duallink-dvi. 1350 trick done but this one doesnt matter..

Pls help me guys.

You shouldn't get flickering at 144hz, at least not what you can notice. Just a loss of brightness.
Try a different DVI cable. If the problem persists, RMA.

Another user had red dots all over his screen at 144hz because he used a cheap Chinese made $2 DVI cable, trying to save a few bucks. Cost him. Problem went away when he used a decent DVI cable.

To avoid 60hz backlight flicker (which should absolutely *NOT* be the same issue as the 144hz issue), set Single Strobe= Off in the service menu.

Note the windows blurbusters GUI utility automatically enables single strobe on any slider change.

Falkentyne thanks for your help. I think I did a mistake in describving the problem.

those flickers are only visible when in watch through an camera i.e. mobile camera. You dont see them with your eyes unless you are watching through a camera.
I only see them with my eyes if i reboot the pc at the bios screen.

But I do get eyestrain after a couple of hours. 144hz BR off is fine no problems there but I want to have BR on for gaming obviously.

dude its just how blur reduction works - making flickering between each frame. So to stop flickering you must turn off blur reduction

Because it's 60Hz and BR I guess works. Disable BR and reboot PC to check.
