Where are all the G-sync displays ?

Talk about NVIDIA G-SYNC, a variable refresh rate (VRR) technology. G-SYNC eliminates stutters, tearing, and reduces input lag. List of G-SYNC Monitors.

Q2 2014 based on calendar is the April-May-June timeframe.
I will keep the List of GSYNC Monitors up to date, as such monitors arrive on the market.

BenQ said Q1 for theirs, so XL2420G and XL2720G should be anytime now.

Meh. I thought it was supposed to be Q1 for 1080p 24" G-Sync monitors. I should have bought VG248QE or VG27HE 3 months ago :(

I am also playing the waiting game. But it's taking way longer than I expected for these monitors to be out and I'm really excited for G-Sync.

The problem is I have been spoiled by IPS color fidelity and viewing angles. If at least a VA G-Sync panel would show up I would buy it imediately. But not even G-Sync VA panels are on the horizon and I'm really itching to upgrade to a 120Hz G-Sync ready monitor :(

Don't you have any info about upcoming VA or IPS panels Chief? Or at the very least, a G-Sync TN panel with great viewing angles.
My biggest peeve with TN panels that I've used in the past is the obvious vertical color shift between the top and bottom of the monitor.

I'm anxious from the wait as well. It'd at least make the wait a bit less taxing if they were to give some more info to whet the palette. I thought that maybe nVidia would bring something to the table at GDC, but alas, no dice. I intended to make a G-Sync display my holdover until displayport 1.3 is released, but at this rate it may well be skipped over lol.

Exactly! I was hoping for some GDC news too, but nothing showed up. My bet is we're going to be stuck with G-Sync TN panels for a long time, which is horrible.

I didn't understand what you mean with this. Are you expecting DisplayPort's variable refresh rate to be adopted shortly after 1.3's release? I sure hope so! An industry standard "g-sync" would be the best we can ask for. Now if only we could combine that with the variable refresh rate strobing algorithm...
