Does light strobing work well when ~3 fps below ref. rate?

Talk about AMD's FreeSync and VESA AdaptiveSync, which are variable refresh rate technologies. They also eliminate stutters, and eliminate tearing. List of FreeSync Monitors.

Thanks again.

Regarding Freesync (so no strobbing), is it recommended to use -3 fps cap, like on g-sync, or is a -0.007 cap better?

-3 is the safe bet. We didn't test, but it doesn't look like freesync has much reason to be any different from g-sync when it comes to operating very close to the upper refresh rate limit.
