I bought - Acer KG251Q 240hz

There's a dead pixel.
With overdrive normal or extreme on my crosshair bleeds with no movement.
Overclocks to 258hz (haven't tested for frame skipping), turns on and off at 259.
Where do I start to improve and test this monitor which has no reviews?
I have an iPhone 6 capable of recording at 240fps.
Would like to unlock the service menu
Overdrive could be more aggressive, if it meant better performance
*edit*
I opened the service menu

The LG27GK750-B overclocked to 280Hz but had frame skipping.
Please try
www.testufo.com/frameskipping and just take a simple photograph with your iPhone (still photo, not video). That's all you need for frameskipping tests.
To go higher than 258, try a Reduced Vertical Total

Reportedly KG251Q may have frameskipping even at stock 240hz so definitely you should check it.
Does it have strobing (blur reduction mode), does it work at 240hz, if yes, do some pictures of
http://testufo.com/crosstalk please.
And please take more detailed (readable) picture of service menu. With submenus ("debug ****" probably have submenus)

The monitor doesn't frameskip at 240hz, frameskips after 241
Overclocking past 258 is possible by reducing vertical total.
*edit*
The LG 27GK750F-B JUST went on sale.... for the same price. I had planned on buying that monitor before this one went on sale, curiosity got the best of me.
I'll be returning this monitor for more reasons than the dead pixel. (soon)
Is the LG 27GK750F-B worth the trouble of switching out? Not sure i'll be making use of strobing. I'm going to test the latency of this monitor when I get home today, if possible.

Those are indeed correct frameskipping pictures; thanks for letting us know.
Too bad we don't have successful overclocks past 240Hz yet.
(but it does demonstrate the ability to transmit refresh cycles to the monitor faster than 1/240sec at least for cherrypicked refresh cycles -- a "Quick Frame Transport" technique is possible that way).

"240Hz ought to be enough for anybody."

To enter the service menu for the Acer KG251Q 240hz: Hold the left most button while the monitor is OFF, press the power button WHILE holding left most button, press the power button again while holding left most button AFTER the monitor turns on. The left most button now opens the factory menu.
Here is a higher quality service menu photo with the only other menu that opens with settings / info.

Debug MPRT

I've set the OD setting higher(0F for N/E strength) and it shows with more pronounced corona in the ghosting test.
How does higher OD benefit me, just less motion blur?

Hm nice, looks like MPRT (strobing) is adjustable by strobe persistence (Duty) and possible "phase" (Shift).
There's also very high Vertical totals showed, can you post 120/144/240hz resolution details via CRU?

MPRT doesn't work @ 240hz, 120hz works.
Using CRU to reset my displays because it wasn't showing the proper resolutions & refresh rates (which I guess it's supposed to do) killed my Nvidia driver.
I'm using DDU to fix this issue.
