Can I buy a 144Hz monitor to offset my 120Hz G-Sync?

Hello,

I have a secondary 60Hz monitor that makes me mad when my games stutter in borderless windowed mode on my 120Hz primary G-Sync monitor. Mostly when animations play or videos play on the secondary monitor.

Can I purchase a non-G-Sync, 144Hz monitor as my secondary, set it to 120Hz, and G-Sync will still work perfectly on my primary 120Hz in borderless windowed?

Yes the Gsync will be there on the gsync panel but gaming will be affected drastically. Normal Productivity will have no issues.

Stuttering will still happen but will be less.

You need to run the primary in fullscreen exclusive to avoid refresh rate interference between monitors. It's been very problematic to run multiple monitors at different refresh rates in windowed mode.
