Hello guys ,
im playing CS:GO and im facing an issue called input lag and delay ,
that means that the game is not smooth as normal and not working as it used to work .
i need to mention that the game used to work perfect but every week the problem comes back and im out of advices .
im using AlienWare AW2518H 244Hz Monitor , i7-9700k Cpu and 2080ti waterforce GPU .
i read about Gsync a little bit and understand that it rather be OFF so i did ,
and it used to work and after one week the issue came back.
so i did another research and saw the Gsync causes input and delay lag sometimes .
I've tried literally everything! i really need your help in this one , i cant solve this issue.
i really dont understand why i need to expirience those issues after spending my best money on this amazing PC.
maybe some nvidia settings need to be fixed or set it as it needs to fit my pc,
Some dude said that i need to try to play with Vsync and Gsync on together and limit my FPS to 236 since my Hz is 244 , but it make no sense cuz the game worked fine with 300 and over 400 fps before .
I really appriciate those who will read this and try to help me , it has been 4 weeks without playing since that issue .

I own the freesync model, and haven't experienced any input-lag/smoothness problems in csgo. 3K elo player.

vsync, gsync -> Off (dont mark anything on)
Nvidia settings: Just use default. (Let 3D application decide)
Put (No scaling) gpu. - And play native resolution in csgo.

Don't change to much ingame in csgo. By this i mean, remove launchoptions and so on. Try verifying the game cache files. This one is important.

Alternatively i would run DDU, and try a reinstall of the drivers.

Try to see, if this works for you.

I have 3 weeks delay and input lag.. I try all!

I do not have a system like yours ! I do not have 240hz monitors ! But I think you should to try off g-sync and change yours 240hz to 200hz and go nvidia panel and change vertical sync to fast and off all vertical sync in games. I will not explain everything to you, but Just try !

Did you fix it?

If not, maybe i got a last possible solution for you...

Go in nvidia setting, and then 3D settings -> click csgo -> Go find shader-cache and disable it(off)

Bro i have litteraly the same fking problem. My pc is i7 7700k, 1080Ti and 16Gb RAM. 144hz monitor.
This delay is not that big but i feel it, i cant spray and aim at all. Please, if you will fix it --> let me know. I lost all my best money to this pcc and setup and i suck cuz of this delay. i cant play for about 3 mounth. And Iam so sorry for my bad English. TY

Also which ISP do you use? DSL, cable, etc? network issues too.

My monitor is XL2411p, cable.
