Dell AW2518HF or Asus VG258QR

Hello guys, I have very hard time choosing a gaming monitor. I've done a lot of research to the point that my brain started bleeding and still haven't made a choice 
The main battle is between Dell AW2518HF or Asus VG258QR, they are offered for the same here in my country and there are other monitors around this price (~360USD) but i don't think they are worth it. Firstly, I'm upgrading from pretty old monitor (ASUS VW193D) that broke down
(it's fixable but I want to upgarde anyway) and I want to upgrade to something that I wouldn't have to change for quite some time(there's not much choice here so I can't change monitors consistently if i don't like them or sth similar).
I read posts about 240hz monitors and their faults (especially the first gen. 240hz) and also about 144hz monitors and their faults and that's when it became clear to me that this will exhausting choice to make, but in the end it has to be made.I saw some people recommend waiting for higher advancement in technology so the 240hz panels will truly be better than 144hz for what we pay, but my budget won't be enough for these panels and in this case I'm not paying more.
For the Alienware I haven't found any in-depth reviews and tests on the response time, sRGB coverage etc. while for the VG25 there are some done by the prad team ( https://www.prad.de/testberichte/test-a ... g-monitor/ ) which are quite good in my view. So I just want tо hear your experiences and opinions about these monitors.
The main usage will be basic daily net browsing, programming and gaming, mainly CSGO from the eSport titles and other modern games like WWZ for example.
