Regarding:
Upgrading BENQ Z-Series Monitors using an MSTAR ISP
Some people occasionally buy MSTAR ISPs that are different from the "Official" MSTAR ISP.
Enough reports (four people) have come from multiple people of frustrations using unofficial/unsanctioned MSTAR ISP's from aliexpress.
The best place to buy MSTAR ISP's is the official one. This is the one that cart100 currently sells:

In the event you have an MSTAR ISP that looks different from the picture in this unit, the upgrading instructions MAY be different from the DIY instructions (e.g. the aliexpress requires enabling DVI HPD via Service Menu, and then upgrading via DVI instead of VGA. However, even so, it is not as reliable as the de-facto "official" MSTAR ISP that is purchased from the cart100 site, identical to the ones used by BENQ engineers).
