I've been looking around for a very good 240hz IPS monitor with MBR and I narrowed it down to XG270. One thing though - I have a Radeon gpu (RX 580) and the monitor says it's G-Sync Compatible on the website and I don't know if it will work with my gpu.

I'm also looking at the VG279QM and MAG251RX as they're also pretty good (but not as good). All Zowie monitors here are either sold out or over my budget.

So will VRR work on XG270 with my RX 580?

G-Sync Compatible means that you can use Adaptive-Sync using Nvidia GeForce GPUs on Free-Sync displays. XG270 is a Free-Sync display, so that's what work with your AMD graphics card - AMD Free-Sync.
