Hi guys,

I plan to buy a 27'' monitor, i want 1440p , IPS panel, and 144hz (at least)
according to Rtings, the best is Asus TUF VG27AQ.
But most of review report terrible black uniformity for this model, ive find its really the lottery on this panel.
Also there is the ACER nitro VG27OUP, seems have better color than the TUF from Asus.

Cant really make a choice right now, so im looking for feedback or advice,
Feel free to proposed other model, im open to discussion !

Thx !

Have you considered ViewSonic XG270QG? especially if you have an nvidia card. it's got g-sync module

This is a very easy question to answer

LG 27GL850-b is the best 1440p monitor if your criteria are response times AND overall use.

it's also the fastest 144hz monitor as well. Faster than the viewsonic elite xg270qg from 144hz and below> The viewsonic is only faster if the framerate is at 165hz and most AAA titles can't even reach 120hz, much less 165hz.

The biggest reason why i'ts the best is because it has a very good SRGB mode to clamp the wide gamut, the viewsonic monitor doesnt' have this which is my biggest gripe.

I have the LG27gl850-b as STILL the best overall monitor period. #1 in response times and #1 in gamut and #1 in overall use(good for gaming, good for video/photo editing as well)

If UK based, the LG27GL850-B can currently be had for £380 from Curry's/pcworld eBay.

What about the LG 27GL83A since it doesn't have the wide gamut, it should be virtually the same otherwise right?
