z490 unify

Flare x 3200 cl14 16gb xmp enabled i stutter even with xmp off stock setting

ssd 960 evo + sabrent gen 4 1to +2to hhd this is a clean install

Evga G 850 gold psu

i tested ram no error 5000% on xmp (kharu)

x34p g sync enabled + vsync on in control panel 120hz with RTTS 117 lock i tried only v sync and stutter still here

all driver updated windows updated latest bios

no discord no nvidia experience

i changed my graphics card and the stutter is still here so it's not the card

i come from a 3700x with the same build just different cpu and board i reainstall windows used ddu ect

the problem is that i stutter even on stock setting i dont understand all my temps are perfect no overclock and it stutter .
later i tried cpu to 5ghz it's stable in prime 95 for 2h without WHEA error stutter still there
and in game menu i have big fps drop

looks like the stutter come when the texture a loading
i Need suggestion i think i'm gonna lost it

It might not be a hardware problem.

What games are you playing?

DWM haunted me for a long time. My games run smoother and do not stutter now.

1) Take a backup of your computer/system restore.

Save this into a .reg file and apply:

2) Find your games executable, right click > Properties > Compatibility > Change settings for all users > Disable fullscreen optimizations.

Reboot and test your games.

If you are still stuttering go back to an older NVIDIA driver, specifically one before they released Reflex.

I don't have enough info yet obviously as it's too new, but there seriously must be some beyond wrong things done by NVIDIA with the newest drivers ever since 30-Series release. There's so, so, so many reports and threads and problems with every single new driver update that comes out for anything pascal and even turing architectures. From NVIDIA forums, to the mass amounts of reddit threads to youtube videos. I'd recommend attempting to go back a bit (as someone else commented - pre reflex / pre 3000 series) possibly and see how that works. Make sure you do a proper reinstall though (remove any and all traces of current driver in safe mode with something like DDU and then reinstall the new driver)

Are you running any monitoring software or OC utilities like MSI Afterburner?

If so try fully closing anything like that.

hello guys thank you for your replys i run msi afterburner just for monitoring and i tried with and without msi afterburner the stutter is still there sometimes the stutter come when a new area is loading in cyberpunk or i drive and the textures are loading one stutter come i go from 80 fps to 76 in a sec after it come back 80
i will try the reg file
Edit: i tried the reg file still no difference

I was getting a stutter with "Low Latency Mode" Set to Ultra. Changing it to "On" fixed my issue.

Hi,i have exact same problem for 2 years already.(its not GPU,RAM,OS.it should be something with z490 chipset)i cant PM you.did you found any solution?
