Hey, so i've got some questions about capping fps with rtss or maybe something other (see below)
i need to know how to cap my fps like that
one of my favourite player has my monitor (omen x25f) 240 hz freesync
his fps are unlocked in game but hes getting 225 fps cap jumping to 230+ not reaching 240
my question is
- how can i cap my fps like that?
- what is this for?
- it will introduce input lag?

You need Vsync ON and Gsync/Fresync on with a frame limit of -5 of your max to be smoothest and least input lag.

All of that is Easily done through Nvidia control panel under "manage 3D settings" on the "Global Settings" tab. Theres a "Max Frame Rate" Setting. Set it to 235. Set "Vsync" to On, and set "Low Latency Mode" to On or Ultra (This will affect input delay). While you're there set Power management to Max performance and Texture Filtering to Performance. In every game turn VSYNC OFF. ALWAYS OFF IN GAME. This is because they're different versions of vsync and they will conflict. Also make sure that G-sync is turned on under "setup G-sync". Check-in "Enable Gsync for fullscreen" and also select "Enable settings for the selected display model"

If you have AMD video card, you should be able to do all that in the AMD control panel, idk what they call it these days.

Do all this and you will get buttery smooth performance.
