Hi I am looking for optimal performance settings for this monitor I have had It for about 6 months now I am really happy with it but I have no experience with monitors and settings so If somebody could help me out I would really apricate it !

So I am running the monitor max refresh rate at 180HZ ( on the monitor settings ) even though my windows settings are set to 240HZ reason I did that Is because windows doesn't allow a custom HZ and the one bellow 240hz is 144hz
my computer runs games between 170hz and 200hz I mainly play apex and league of legends and I want it at 180hz/200hz

If somebody could go Into debt about settings and tell me what to set it as for the best performance at 180hz/200hz I would really apricate it as I am currently not sure If my settings are good and tbh I have no clue what each setting means

this youtuber talks about his settings briefly and what he believes is best at > 5:50 If you fast forward to that time you'll hear him speak about his the best performance he recommends but he just mentions it he doesn't actually go trough the settings

either way I hope I get a response here as I have tried reddit and they've recommended me here
I have seen some settings for people that requested 144hz and for people that wanted 240hz
but I sort of want the 180hz/200hz which I haven't found the best performance for that just yet

I worked on XG270 and strobe-tuned it at 75, 100, 120, 144, 180, 224 and 240.

There are two options -- you can create 180 Hz in Custom Resolution with Automatic timings.

Or you can create a Large Vertical Total to gain Quick Frame Transport (QFT) advantages -- a slight latency reduction delivering a 180Hz refresh cycle over the cable in 1/240sec. Basically copy and pasting the 240Hz CRU numbers (all sync/porch numbers identical) but turning Vertical Total to 1500 and Refresh Rate to 180.

Note: On XG270 specifically, there won't be crosstalk difference because of the way XG270 panel specifically works.

Depends on your goals. Better motion quality or lower latency? Strobing is a balance of compromise choices.

Motion Quality Priority: frame rate equals refresh rate
119Hz or 120Hz, Low-Lag VSYNC ON, PureXP=ON, configure game detail to keep framerate=Hz, mouse DPI high (1600+), in-game sensitivity low

Latency Priority: frame rate above refresh rate
240Hz, VSYNC OFF, PureXP=OFF, preferred mouse dpi/sensitivity

Compromise
180Hz or 224Hz, preferred sync technology (fps=Hz or fps>Hz), PureXP=ON

For low lag, you might prefer max Hz, since 100fps at 240Hz can be lower lag than 100fps at 144Hz. You have to lower refresh rate strategically, for other reasons, such as motion quality and/or add compensations such as Quick Frame Transport.
