How to use ulmb on Alienware 360hz

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).

How to use ulmb on Alienware 360hz

Post by ysenojftw » 11 Sep 2021, 15:44

I was wondering what the optimal settings for trying ulmb out on the 360hz Alienware. I am aware it will be forced down to 240hz, since I get 500-600 fps should I turn it on and then just play uncapped fps?

I have a 3070, not amd. Just wondering if overkill fps on ulmb will be fine without say vsync on or fps caps.

For best clarity in ULMB mode VSYNC ON is always the best choice. VSYNC also means higher input lag.
If u can achieve overkill fps try VSYNC OFF but bear in mind that GPU load around 100% will also increase input lag.
