"G-Sync Option" is missing in Nvidia Control Panel

Hi!

Im from Germany and i recently imported an Asus VG248QE G-Sync Editon from Overlord Computer.
So far so good, the Monitor is working fine with 144 hz but i have a serious problem.

My Setup:
Windows 8.1 on MacBook Pro Retina Late 2013 via Bootcamp
DisplayPort 1.2 <-> ThunderBolt Adapter
Asus VG248QE G-Sync Editon is configurated as Primary Display and the Retina MacBook Display is disabled.

My Way of Driver installation:
I booted in Safe Mode and uninstalled the Old Nvidia Driver via Device Settings and i cleaned all up with DDU.
Rebooted in Normal Mode and updatetd the Driver to 337.88 (English)

But the "Setup G-Sync" Option is missing and under Vertical Sync, the G-Sync Option is also missing.
I add some Screenshots.

I tryed several other Drivers with this way of installation but nothing worked.

Can someone help me out ?
Or any Tips?

Are you sure your GPU supports G-Sync? The 750M is not listed here:

Maybe someone can provide me with an direct "Nvidia Support Email Address" to investigate this case and answer the Question?

I don't think G-sync currently works with any mobile nvidia GPUs.

Also, the 750m, I'm pretty sure it's kepler, if it's similar to the desktop GTX 650, they say that the 650ti boost is the minimum card that supports G-sync.

I tryed several things but i think its really true that G-Sync doesnt Support the 750m on Mac Book Pro Retina.
Its sad but the 144hz also satisfy me

But i want to try a new thing.
I mainly buyed my Mac Book for Work but after several Month´s of Gaming abstinence i planned to buy the following things anyway.

I want to upgrade my System for Gaming needs with an ViDock 4 ++ Overdrive and an GTX 770.

What is your opinion? Can this unlock the G-sync feature or not?
Or will the 750m and the GTX 770 together trigger some new problems? maybe to the point that G-sync isn´t available even after the upgrade?

Important: GSYNC won't work if there's both an Intel GPU and NVIDIA GPU in the laptop

GSYNC does not support "NVIDIA Optimus" (GPU switching) laptops at this time. The problem is the driver makers haven't co-ordinated i2c serial line transmission (DDC/CI) between Intel and NVIDIA, since the i2c for NVIDIA GPU to the monitor, must be communicated via the Intel GPU. This is why LightBoost doesn't work easily from Optimus laptops, and neither does GSYNC. In the long term, hopefully NVIDIA can solve this issue.

Unfortunately, I don't think GSYNC will ever work via Optimus laptops (laptops with Intel GPU + NVIDIA GPU switching). They haven't fixed the lack of 3D Vision support in Optimus for 2 years. My suggestion is to get a different machine (as lovely as the Mac Retina is), or a desktop, to take advantage of the GSYNC abilities.

There's an overkill solution: Run Bootcamp, run a version of Windows that supports an external Thunderbolt PCI Express enclosure. Install a GTX 700-series card in that external box. Then connect the Thunderbolt box to your Macbook Pro. Viola. You get GSYNC! Expensive solution, though.

I'am interested in your Solution, surely its Expensive.
But Building a new gaming rig is a no go for me.

The Retina Late 2013 is so beutiful and holds so much Power Inside, ill never Build a new Gaming Rig again.


Maybe you can recommend me a suitable Thunderbolt PCIe enclosure for an GTX 770?
The only Vendor for Thunderbolt Cases i found was Sonnet.

The other Solution to realise this was via ViDock.

If you do try the external box method, remember to have enough power supply for the wattage of the GPU you plan to put inside it. You may have to use a lower-numbered 700-series that's small enough and lower-power enough, for example. e.g. GTX 750 might fit the power budget, while the 780 might not. Also, since you're effectively limited in PCI bus bandwidth, you'll sort of being only slightly better than 600-series performance out of your 700-series, so if you want, you could bump it down further. On the other hand, it could give you really nice AA performance since enabling AA would mostly become a zero-framerate-loss endeavour, given the bus bottleneck.

Doing your homework is very important, as I don't have much experience with external Thunderbolt installation of Geforce cards, but it has worked before for gaming (albiet I haven't heard of anybody doing this "in order to get GSYNC working" -- but it should).

Despite the bus bottleneck of Thunderbolt relative to PCI Express x16 slots, a bonus is you will get better graphics performance than even the GeForce mobile chip embedded in your laptop, despite the narrower bus bandwidth, and probably be able to bump up the AA, for example.

If you could afford GSYNC and a Retina Macbook, then the external Thunderbolt box for an add-on graphics card is the approach I would recommend to get GSYNC working with your Macbook. Beyond this, you will need to do your homework to verify compatibility, power requirements, etc.
