High kernel timer latency value

Just checked my kernel latency and it indicated ridiculously high values. Is anybody here who faced it before and maganed to fix it?

Additionally
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: steam.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 42059
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 7029
Number of processes hit: 96
I mentioned already, that there is some relation between sound and gameplay experience in CS:GO. Any ideas what is causing it?

Definitely it is. Did you already try spray from AK with volume "0" and "1" in the console?

I remember there was a time where the sound that was produced when I dominated someone in deathmatch mode, that sound took away 100% of the input lag, it was grotesque to be able to kill everyone with 1 bullet for a few seconds :(

if you are talking about CS:GO, for the sound it is better to configure the sound in Windows, so maybe you need to update the firmware of your headset

Try this:

1) Reboot PC
2) Open latencymon and press start
3) Open chrome and play a youtube video
4) Don't minimze chrome or switch tabs
5) Bring latencymon to the foreground and see if the latency changed
