Re: Input lag and fluidity under 60fps

Thanks deama for your feedback!
So running a game in borderless fullscreen forces some kind of triple buffer, is that right?
Do you know what setting should be use for the Low Lag Mode in those scenarios?

Input lag and fluidity under 60fps

Hi, I'm a huge fan of the low-lag trick for non-VRR screens but I never fully understood what would be the right settings for games that do not sustain 60fps at all times (recent emulators, big sandbox games and flight simulators are my concerns) and for which you desire the best combo of fluidity a...

Quantum Dot Technology [backlight technology]

It seems that a new technology is going to be sold as a competitor of OLED and claim 1/3 of the price for the same picture quality. It's called Quantum Dot and I don't have much informations but I feel good to hear that the race toward quality panels technologies is finally starting! :) If anyone ge...

Re: Anyway to replicate Low Blue Light mode on Asus Swift?

Interesting, I use flux for office work at night but never dared to use it for games. I was afraid to screw the art and color design of the game. Is it that much more comfortable to play with it enabled at night? Do you tend to get used to the color shift so it feels good in-game? Sorry for the ques...

Re: G-sync TN vs CRT for games with locked frame rates <60fp

Thank you for your answer Haste. I agree with you on the low-quality of such experience and the shame on the developers of such games. BUT I still love to play some games that are part of my "childhood" and a lot of them are from the 2000s (ports from PS2/Xbox) so I'm kind of f***. :x And the worst ...

G-sync TN vs CRT for games with locked frame rates <60fps

Hello there, I'm wondering what will perform best when playing games that have a locked frame rate inferior at 60fps (let say around 30 but stable - thank you PS2/Xbox ports...). On one side there is the good old CRTs (better colors and no blur but double-edge motion effect with those games) and on ...

Re: Sony Bravia [overclocking / Motionflow]

Seems like the "new" Sony KDL-50W805B is supporting MotionFlow Impulse with an amazing 3200:1 contrast; a Delta E of 2,5; a gamma of 2,2; a color temperature of 6460K and a response time of 13ms (without the Impulse mode)! It's a VA panel with a screen size of 50" available in Europe for 900€! Best ...

Re: Digital projectors and strobing

Thank you Chief, I'll definitely use it for gaming. It seems that there is no crosstalk in 3D on this model, so do you think that it means I can play a 60fps game in 3D mode on this projector and get a proper black frame insertion/strobing? I guess though that for movies and TV Shows, is it better t...
