Re: System>Display>Graphics>Default Gph Settings?
well for gsync to engage (and then possibly cause stutter and/or flicker) using the "Enable for full screen mode" option, without MPOs, the app would need to be an app using a flip model swapchain with a borderless fullscreen window using a resolution that matches the current monitor's resolution ...

Re: System>Display>Graphics>Default Gph Settings?
i don't think the gsync101 blurbuster's guide takes MPOs into account... (and i generally wouldn't recommend disabling MPOs... having them on is generally good for gaming to ensure that your game uses the ideal independent flip presentation in more scenarios)
G-SYNC 101 indeed pre-dates Nvidia ...

Re: Question about Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel
triple buffering normally wouldn't really make a difference when vrr is enabled with fps capped enough below the display's max refresh rate (or when nvidia's reflex low latency mode is doing that for us when using gsync + vsync on). hm i believe the gsync101 guide basically mentions that somewhere ...

Re: Question about Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel
global driver vsync on may cause vrr to trigger on apps that weren't designed for that... and cause stutter and/or flicker
on displays with MPOs at least.

Re: System>Display>Graphics>Default Gph Settings?
So I have G-Sync and V-Sync on as you guys recommend! But what about these 3 settings in Windows 11?
i recommend you stop having vsync globally on in the nvidia control panel if you're doing that.

Re: Does DSC disable MPO support? (Display cloning issue)
you also don't have the dsr/dldsr options in nvidia's control panel, right ?
dsc can disable MPOs just like it can make you lose the dsr/dldsr options...
according to nvidia, when a display is connected to the gpu and the display uses dsc, the gpu may use two internal heads to drive the display ...

Re: Samsung G80SD low latency + vsync
do you have another display connected that is running at 120hz ? if you do and you have that one set as the main display in windows, then that would explain what's going on...
because nvidia's reflex low latency mode (and i believe it's the same for the ultra low latency option), when using gsync ...

Re: Is this kind of VSYNC behavior possible?
I'm not very familiar with SpecialK. I tried using it today, but unfortunately it seems to crash the particular game I'm trying to play at the moment (Far Cry 4). I also couldn't find out whether this can be fixed.
apparently it's because of what this particular game is doing with dxdiagn ...

Re: Accidentally fixed my stuttering and input lag problem
I can still see my gsync indicator even in borderless mode. it's on even by feeling of the game. even with mpo is off and gsync in nvcpl is set to fullscreen games only. And it still shows hardware independent flip in borderless mode. i am a little bit confused
i didn't say you always need MPOs ...

What do you think helped me in this case?
maybe the first thing you mentioned here:
